Microcosm has supported the Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN) to develop extensively our brand identity and re-design our website in a short period of time. We enjoy working with them as they are very responsive and collaborative.
— Mia Haerani, CCHN

CCHN developed an interim brand identity during their development phase and in 2020 they required a more professional and holistic brand to see the organisation officially launch at the end of their five-year incubation phase.

Microcosm worked closely with the marketing and communications team at CCHN to design a brand structure around the existing logo, which was not to change. We developed a strong colour palette, supporting graphic elements, custom iconography and a renewed visual style. We created a detailed brand guide in print and digital (brand microsite) format to give content creators clear guidelines on how to apply the brand. We also create pocket and ”at-a-glance” poster versions of the brand guide.

Alongside the branding development Microcosm designed and produced functional, smart and fool-proof templates in MS Word, Powerpoint, InDesign and Canva to allow CCHN staff to easily publish professional quality documents and collateral as required, without having to consult with a design team. The team was also provided with video and in-context user guides to ensure these templates could be handle with limited on-boarding required.
