Microsoft Office Template Design

CWP Renewables had just undergone a brand refresh and needed to have their new branding reflected in their document collateral. The branding needed to be rolled out to a suite of Word and PowerPoint templates. Each  template housing a consistent set of corporate assets, formatting and layout.

Phase 1 – Template Development

Word: Report / Memo / Letterhead / Agreements.

PowerPoint: Presentation Template

Word

A suite of documents with automation features including optional cover pages / divider pages / headers and end page. A full set of editable assets, including maps, timelines, graphic devices and icons.

The ability to toggle the document restrictions on and off was built into all the templates, allowing the pasting of formatted content from external documents, stripping the content of unwanted styles.

PowerPoint

A full set of Master Slides we built into the template, including various options of Title Slides / Divider Slides / Agenda / image and content placeholders / Team Profiles / End Slide.

The template also includes the full set of editable assets, including maps, timelines, graphic devices and icons.

Phase 2 - Template Distribution

Microcosm advised on the best way to distribute the templates, enabling CWPR staff to easily view and choose the correct template from within Word or PowerPoint. As these templates were put to work, any requests or adjustments were made to finalise the templates.

Phase 3 - Company Template Training

In the last phase, Microcosm provided question & answer online training sessions to CWPR staff (60+ members nation-wide) on best practice use and guidance.
